The Digital Twin Leaders Summit, hosted by the Construction Industry Council (CIC), was held this afternoon (27/8). Thomas, Chairman of the CIC, kick-started the conference with an encouraging opening speech, followed by experiences sharing by 9 leaders including but not limited to Rosana of Yau Lee, Romeo from the Housing Authority and Katherine from RLB.

 

Rosana believes that digital twin is an indispensable and important technology for smart city. By illustrating the renovation of the Group’s latest hotel development namely Motto by Hilton Hong Kong SoHo, she shared the Group’s unique digital twin approach to cater four pillars of analytics including descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive on a real-time basis, and towards autonomous twin which has the ability to learn and act on behalf of the user with the enriched IoT technologies and sensors. All the analysis will then be shown in the smart command theatre together with other real time project information as well as open data to create an integrated platform which enables corporate-level monitoring in terms of safety, quality and productivity as a whole.

 

The forum was concluded by Alex from the CIC, who called on everyone to actively participate in the CIC Global Construction Digitalization Forum and Exhibition 2024 on Oct 29 and 30.
