Rosana, Benny and Ben of Yau Lee Group joined the CIC’s study tour of Good Housing and Construction Technology in Beijing from Jan 16 to 17. The delegate conducted in-depth visits to organizations and projects to under the latest development of technology applications covering Design for Interior Fitout, MiC, BIM, etc. “Good housing” refers to residential properties that embody characteristics such as low carbon and energy efficiency, health and comfort, intelligent convenience, safety and durability, environmental livability, and comprehensive services. This is a guideline promoted by China's Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Building good housing will significantly promote the upgrading of housing consumption, unleash tremendous potential for stabilizing growth and expanding domestic demand, create a new track, and drive effective qualitative improvements and reasonable quantitative growth in China's economy.

 

The delegate came from various sectors, including the Development Bureau, Architectural Services Department, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, Invest Hong Kong, CIC, Science Park, construction and BIM companies. During the visit, they met with teams from China Architecture Design & Research Group, YJK Building Software and Glodon Company Limited, Beijing Glory PKPM Technology Co Ltd and SuperMap Software Co Ltd. Rosana looks forward to having more exchanges and continuous learning with different units, which will have a positive impact on the future development of Hong Kong's construction technology.
