At the beginning of 2023, CIC’s Master Class on Common Data Environment (CDE), aimed at providing the practitioners at management level who wish to generate value from project data and leveraging digitization to improve business processes via the use of integrated CDE, has already been taken place at Zero Park Building. Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, has been invited to lecture again after the debut module last year to share her experiences and insights of implementing CDE in various projects, namely a hotel re-engineering project, a redevelopment one under smart city concept; as well as providing BIM consultancy services & Asset Information Model (AIM) to the Chemical Waste Treatment Centre. She also analyzed the indispensability of an optimal balance between technology transformation and commercial value. Mr Eric Poon, Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA), as another speaker today to share the digitalization journey of URA.

 

Rosana is delighted to be served as speaker again at CIC’s Master Class and she said that in 2023, our Group will continue to drive the I&T talent development here in HK. In particular, GVDC Training Centre, wholly owned by Yau Lee Holdings Limited, will provide a wide range of I&T courses to enhance the sustainability of our industry. It’s also our mission to keep on advocating and adopting a series of smart construction solutions include MiC, 5D BIM, CDE and so on with a view to driving the development of smart city and achieving carbon neutrality before 2050 in HK.
