SoCO’s Everest Residence Awarded HKIA Merit Award for Hong Kong Public/Subsidized Housing
The Everest Residence has been honoured with the HKIA Merit Award for Hong Kong Public/Subsidized Housing. Designed by Nelson Chan Architects and built by Yau Lee Construction, Everest Residence marks a significant milestone as the first transitional housing initiative in Hong Kong Island, providing 103 units for approximately 210 residents.
 
The project features a thoughtfully designed central courtyard, which serves as a leisure space for tenants, fostering a sense of community and well-being among residents. This innovative approach underscores the commitment to creating not just housing, but also vibrant living environments.
 
Rosana from Yau Lee Group thanks Prof. Nelson Chan for his invitation and is delighted to celebrate this achievement with the client and our esteemed consultants. This award is not just a recognition of our efforts, but a testament to the collaborative spirit that has driven this project.
