The Green Building Award 2025 Presentation Ceremony was held tonight, themed “Towards Carbon Neutrality,” recognizing outstanding projects in the sustainable built environment.

 

The Chai Wan Government Complex and Vehicle Depot was shortlisted as a finalist, showcasing innovative design and sustainable practices. The project adopted DfMA and the first precast inclined circular ramp in Hong Kong. It aims to promote a people-centric design with innovative green technologies implemented, enhancing the well-being of both the city and its citizens. By incorporating landscape corridors with horizontal and vertical greening, the project introduces vibrancy to the otherwise dull industrial neighborhood of Chai Wan. This thoughtful design emphasizes enjoyment for staff and the community alike.

 

During the ceremony, Rosana of Yau Lee Group received the award on behalf of the team, expressing gratitude for the leadership by ArchSD and project team’s dedication in bringing this visionary project to life. She is proud to contribute to a sustainable future through innovative design and community-centered initiatives.
