IVE (Tuen Mun) invited Rosana of Yau Lee Group to deliver a talk on “Green Buildings in Hong Kong: Sustainability and Urban Development” for their Higher Diploma students in civil engineering and building studies this afternoon (12/2). The aim was to enlighten students on innovative construction practices and sustainable development.

 

During her presentation, Dr. Wong explored several key topics, including MiC, smart and healthy living with universal design, sustainable building and hospitality, autonomous twin solutions, smart command theatres, low altitude economy, intellectual property AI platform, and carbon trading platform. Dr. Wong aimed to inspire students to leverage technology and think outside the box as budding engineers. She emphasized that being a good engineer requires continuous research and development, along with a willingness to collaborate with others and strive for exponential growth throughout the learning process.

 

Representatives from IVE (Tuen Mun) expressed their gratitude to Dr. Wong for her engaging presentation, particularly her infectious passion and spirit of innovation, which cannot be replaced by AI.
