CIC Annual Cocktail 2026
The CIC Annual Cocktail 2026 was held this afternoon (11/3). Conrad and Rosana of Yau Lee Group joined Secretary Bernadette, Secretary Winnie, CIC Chairman Thomas and industry practitioners to celebrate the Year of the Horse and CIC’s milestones.
Chairman Thomas delivered a welcome speech to kick off the cocktail, announcing 2026 as the Year of AI to drive digital transformation across the construction lifecycle, targeting 100% full digitalization for projects. He emphasised safety as the top priority and called for full implementation of the 4S initiative to protect frontline staff.
Secretary Bernadette then delivered opening remarks, outlining industry priorities using the “HORSE” acronym: Harnessing Technology, Ownership, Resilience, Safety and Excellence.
The event also included a badge presentation for retired CIC personnel and a graduation ceremony for the Future Construction Excellence Programme.
Rosana was happy to mingle with old friends from the industry and looks forward to closer collaboration, wider adoption of smart construction, and continuous enhancements in safety and workforce development in the coming year.
