【Haw Par Mansion | Meeting of the Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Association】
The Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Association met yesterday at Haw Par Mansion to plan the ceremony for the 【Greater Bay Area Youth “Carbon Neutrality” Green Competition for Innovation & Creativity】. As an advisor of the event, Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group has joined the meeting and she found it particularly meaningful to discuss youth issues at this preserved historical building.

It’s worth noting that Haw Par Mansion was built in 1935 and was the former residence of Mr. Aw Boon Haw, who was known as "The King of Tiger Balm". This mansion is one of the few surviving specimens of the Chinese Eclectic style architecture in Hong Kong. Further, the premise was accorded Grade 1 historic building status in 2009 and was approved to revitalise into a music training school namely Haw Par Music Farm. Meanwhile, our Group is always dedicated to heritage conservation and has taken part in numerous iconic revitalisation projects, namely Whitfield Barracks, Lui Seng Chun, Wah Ha Estate, Oil Street Art Space, etc. Looking ahead, with accordance to Rosana, the Group will continue to participate in heritage conservation so as to inherit Hong Kong's unique architectural culture and bring new life to our historical buildings.
