“Care under the Lion Rock” - Charity Concert for the Alleviation of Poverty has been held in Hong Kong Cultural Centre last night. Yau Lee Group supported this charity concert again this year as a silver sponsor and our Executive Director Ms. Rosana Wong attended the concert on behalf of our Group. With the presence of Ms. Alice Mak, Secretary for Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Mr. Andrew Lam, Member of Legislative Council of HKSAR, and Rev. Tobias Brandner, Chairperson of Society for Community Organization (SoCO), the guests participated all together in spreading love and hope.

 

In the charity concert, children, young people and elderlies sing a beautiful movement together, showing the spirit of intergenerational harmony. The most touching performances were those from a SoCo young pianist and a SoCO young jazz drummers. Although their family members could not afford any leisure music classes, with the help of SoCO and their personal talent and hard work, they were able to perform well and set a model for other grassroots children.

 

As the main contractor for SoCO’s Ying Wa Street Social Housing ”Tenacity Residence”, Yau Lee dedicated to collaborating with different NGOs and facilitating social housing projects by the adoption of our innovative technologies including demountable concrete MiC which can reduce 40% of construction time and 60% of manpower.
