Promotion of smart mobility is extremely essential as transportation is an indispensable part of our daily life. Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group and Vice President of Smart City Consortium (SCC), was invited to join as a host for the webinar of “Smart Future - Significant Milestones of Smart Mobility”, co-organised by HK01 and SCC, and to discuss and explore the development of smart mobility with Mr. Michael Law, Assistant Commissioner/Technical Services of Transport Department.

 

The Government has formulated and implemented various smart mobility measures since 2019 to enable a more convenient travel experience for citizens and drivers while Yau Lee Group and Ophylla Ventures, founded by Ms. Wong, has been fully supporting it. For instance, we have developed 4 generations of autonomous vehicle and successfully applied the most number of movement permit in Hong Kong as well as promoting “first and last mile” to alleviate congestion and reduce carbon emissions. We have also introduced Mechanised Vehicle Parking System to provide more parking lots and last but not least, hydrogen as clean energy to actualise carbon neutrality and help Hong Kong become a more liveable and sustainable city.
